I write award-winning steamy historical romance and was honored to receive the 2026 Emily Award and the 2025 Golden Heart Award for historical romance. My love for historical romance began when my grandmother introduced me to Regency romances when I was a young teen.

I've worn many professional hats besides that of author, including secondary school science teacher, professional pastry cook, and field biologist. I live in the Upper Midwest, United States, with my human family, an elderly Border-Jack, and four snakes.
