Overview

BookSirens was founded in 2018 — initially as a directory to help authors quickly find potential book reviewers in their genre and to help readers get complementary books in exchange for their review.

Since then, it has evolved into a vital tool for any author or publisher looking to launch their books with more social proof via honest book reviews on sites like Amazon, Goodreads, and others. As of May 2025, ~11,966 authors and publishers have promoted their books on BookSirens. They include Amazon Top #100 authors, NYT and USA Today Bestselling authors, and promising debut authors across almost every genre.

The availability of advance review copies (ARCs) in a variety of genres has also made BookSirens a household name among the book reviewer / ARC reader community. Our audience of ~51,607 readers has written over ~619,372 voluntary reviews on sites like Amazon, Goodreads, BookBub, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, Google Play, and Apple Books, with more reviews being written daily.

The Team

Dhruv Garg

Founder

Dhruv started BookSirens in 2018 as a weekend project. His aim was to create an easy-to-use book blogger directory to help authors find potential ARC reviewers. After receiving initial feedback, he realized authors and publishers sought a more comprehensive platform. Dhruv set out to make this platform a reality, teaming up with some amazing individuals along the way. He currently spends his time doing a little bit of everything, but mostly works on new features... at least when his cat is not tip-toeing across his keyboard.

Raghav Modi

Head of Operations

Raghav is a book blogger and avid ARC reader who joined the BookSirens team in 2019. He is in charge of operations which includes customer support and dozens of little things behind the scenes. If you've been fortunate enough to get a response to your question sooner than you expected, you can thank Raghav for that. Raghav also loves to travel, is a doting father of two, and in his spare time enjoys blogging about food.

Tara Yasin

Catalog Queen

Tara is an ex-editor who joined the BookSirens team in 2020 after hearing about it from one of her clients. Her attention to detail won us over immediately and scared us a little too. She heads our catalog and editorial team. It is thanks to her that the quality of our ARC catalog is top class, ARCs are in the correct categories, blurbs are nearly free of typos, and ebook files download seamlessly 99% of the time.

Ashley Cooper

Social Media Manager

Ashley took over our social media initiatives in early 2022 and has most notably grown our Instagram to over 19,000 passionate followers. She is a digital nomad and a bookworm who clocks in about a book a week. While coordinating timezones is always a challenge with Ashley, she makes up for it by finding the coolest bookstores during her travels and keeping us entertained with her adventures. Maybe her future travel memoir will end up on BookSirens one day!

Luis Aguilar

Customer Support

Luis joined us in the fall of 2022 to assist us with our growing customer support volume. He works closely with Raghav and specifically focuses on reader support. He also curates all the feedback we regularly receive from readers and authors, which informs what features we should build next and how we should prioritize things. He's a big Messi fan and an avid footballer.
