Author

Jane Efua Asamoah is the author of the new children’s book; My Mommy’s Name Is Mommy. She enjoys writing in her journal about her unique yet seemingly ordinary encounters with God and people. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from University of Ghana and her master’s degree in social work from University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. She was born and raised in Ghana, West Africa, and has lived most of her adult life in the United States of America. A full time mom, she currently lives in Roanoke with her husband and her three precious boys. She serves in her community as a children’s leader in Bible Study Fellowship. She sees it as a great joy and honor to partner with other believers in leading children in the ways of Jesus. Jesus commissioned believers to make disciples and she believes that begins in our homes. Parents can plant the truth of God’s Word in their children’s minds by reading the Bible with them, living out their own love for God in word and deed and taking them to church where others do the same. But only the Holy Spirit can access the heart and bring about the fruit parents desire to see grow in their children.
