Three lovers. An orphanage. And a horror waiting beyond the gate.
When a little girl from the orphanage disappears, its oldest resident, eighteen-year-old Flint, is left rattled. Especially when his tarot cards—contrary menaces that they are—give him a clear answer for once.
Death.
But Flint isn’t about to risk himself or his two lovers, Edith and Lyell, for one missing child. Better to keep his head down, endure the cruelties of the master who raised him, and work towards his dream of one day inheriting the orphanage.
Then the children start whispering of a pale, antlered creature watching from the forest. Edith and Lyell talk about leaving the only home they’ve ever known. And Flint’s cards act strangely, warning him of the Horned One.
When two more children—children he can no longer pretend are not his responsibility—are taken, he’s forced into a choice.
Stay inside the cage and protect what remains. Or step into the unknown with the man and woman he loves—
and face the Devil himself.
Book 1 of The Raven Triad series. A queer romantic fantasy featuring an established MMF triad and their feral orphans.
