All she wanted was a haircut.
What she got was something much more magical.
Recently laid off from her corporate job, Hannah Simmons treats herself to a trim at Lovelock Hair Salon. But when an impatient customer mistakes her for a member of staff, Hannah ends up wielding a hairdryer.
Jack Lovelock is a whizz with enchanted scissors, but back-to-back appointments have him in a tangle. When Hannah starts pitching in, he does the sensible thing and offers her a job—though he’s not expecting to find her efficiency quite so appealing.
Hannah’s life finally seems to be getting back on track, and having a hot hairdresser for a boss is a definite perk. But just as romance starts to blossom, Jack’s ex’s mother waltzes in for a colour correction, and things take a magical turn.
With the salon full of secrets, spells and one very tempting warlock, Hannah is in danger of falling for her new boss—in more ways than one.
