Author

Christine grew up exploring the marshes, forests, and blueberry bogs of rural Wisconsin. Spending long summer days in the countryside, she found comfort and joy in the companionship of the local wildlife—turtles, frogs, and toads—who inspired her series, The Adventures of Walter the Frog.

Country life became even brighter when a friendly stray black cat joined her adventures. He accompanied her on wilderness explorations, cuddled up at night, and became her trusted best friend—the inspiration behind her bedtime story, Inky and Me. Through her rhyming picture books, Christine brings these magical childhood memories to life, sharing tender tales of empathy, animal companionship, and outdoor wonder with young readers.
