Sean Butler was born in Ireland in 1983 and currently lives in Ballincollig, Cork, with his wife Sarah and dog Molly. In a previous life, he was a lecturer specialising in international and human rights law, but gave it all up to chase the stories from his head.

Sean writes speculative fiction through a literary lens, focusing on the lives of ordinary people in extraordinary worlds.
