An MM Sporting Romance
Barnaby Fitznorman-Bicester is a marquess, an Olympic eventer, and the childhood best friend of the King of the United Kingdom, who has given him a sovereign command to get comprehensively shagged in the Olympic Village.
Barnaby just wants to win a gold medal and go home.
Lex Murphy is a two-time gold medallist heavyweight boxer from Barking with a cologne deal and a running bet with his mates that he can pull the frostiest man in the Village. He's identified Barnaby as his target. His target has responded by putting on headphones and fleeing on a treadmill.
Lex has never, in his entire career, chosen the easier fight. Barnaby has never let anyone close enough to land a hit.
The smart move would be to keep it physical. A few weeks in the Village, then back to their own worlds—Barnaby to his horses, Lex to his title fights. No complications. No tabloids. No one gets hurt.
They're not going to make the smart move.
