The Story…
The Steampunks need a wizard to quest for a new burning dragon bone to power the Master Furnace that runs all their contraptions through a network of leaky steam hoses. This heroic wizard will voyage stormy seas, brave poison fog, battle wild dragons, and face the Steampunks' mortal enemy and masters of yarn magic, the Crochets.
Mitch the Adequate is NOT that wizard. He is sent from his home on Tahar the Jellyfish to merely collect this information. But Steampunk Librarian Pearl has evidence that the dragons and fog are harmless, and that the hero who captured their first bone was a fraud. She wants to prove it by retrieving a bone with Mitch’s help. Mitch is unsure of her claims but also eager to escape his dead-end job. They secure the help of Captain Fanny and her clockwork sailing ship to voyage to Teta the Otter to find the truth about the dragons and fog. Meanwhile, NONE of their bosses are okay with ANY of this.
Will their supervisors stop them? Will Captain Fanny secure a better life for her landlubber brother? What is Steampunk Librarian Pearl hiding in her steamer trunk? Will Mitch ever control his sneeze teleporting?
