Victor
She’s a brat. There’s no other way to put it.
She defies me, talks back and has a nasty habit of getting on every single nerve I possess.
Also, she’s a spoiled trust fund princess, and there’s nothing I despise more than entitled little girls with too much time on their manicured hands.
But when I lay eyes on her for the first time, I sense something different lurking underneath that perfect façade. She’s sharp-witted. She has fire inside of her, and frankly, that makes me hard. It also doesn’t help that she’s so beautiful a lesser man would worship at her feet every single day of his miserable life.
So, I decide to marry her.
I need her more than she needs me, though I’ll never admit to it.
But at what cost?

He’s the devil incarnate.
Okay, maybe I’m exaggerating slightly.
He’s rude, demanding and thinks the entire world revolves around him and his expectations.
He’s the most infuriating man I have ever met, and to my utter dismay, also the most attractive.
I’m being forced to marry him. My grandfather, the person I love most in this life, has had it with me. With my laziness and my unpredictability. No matter how much I cry or beg, he will not change his mind.
I’m not wife material. I don’t want to submit to any man, much less one as strict and immovable as my future husband.
He’ll try to keep me in check.
I’ll give him a run for his money.
