A darkly comic Norse-mythic tragedy in which a cursed sword, a berserker prince, a blood-touched princess, and a doomed warrior drive one another toward an ending none of them can escape. Angantyr Halftroll forced the dwarves to make him a sword that would always bring victory, but the dwarves put a curse on it, that it would be the death of him and all his kin. Its first victim was his own father.
Hjalmar was a lonesome Viking warrior enamored of Svanhwit, but she disappeared with Angantyr.
Eyfura, the Valkyrie princess, fell in love with Hjalmar. When Angantyr came looking to make her his bride, she enlisted Hjalmar to fight a duel in her defense. On the eve of the duel, the Allfather appears to Eyfura telling her to harvest the soul of Hjalmar for Valholl. In this tangled situation, can true love prevail?
