This is the choice Jesse Takanashi has to make when his sister disappears, and his search for her leads to an invisible door in the woods behind his boarding school.
Alongside his childhood best friend and secret crush, Kira, he steps through the door and is swept into a medieval world where magic serves as technology and dragons are no surprise. With the help of a sexy stranger who threatens to seduce Kira away from Jesse, they embark on a journey to find his sister. But they need to be on their guard, because this world may not allow them to leave.
Back at the boarding school, Jesse and Kira’s friends search for clues about who is causing the disappearances, and how to bring Jesse and Kira home. Because Jesse’s sister was not the first to disappear from their school. And they suspect it may all be connected to that mysterious hallway.
