Finding love in the olive groves.
Sera Castaldo is a passionate but troubled young woman unravelling under the pressure of work and a suppressed grief that won’t go away no matter how hard she tries.
To save her career and her sanity, she takes an extended leave of absence from her job in the city to stay with her eccentric godmother, Maggie, and her formidable mother, Daphne, on their estate nestled among olive groves and vineyards on the steps of New Zealand’s Southern Alps.
Sera throws herself into helping them renovate the old homestead and harvest the estate’s olive trees to produce their first ever batch of olive oil. Her path to healing old wounds becomes intrinsically intertwined with the success of these projects, but someone seems to thwart her every move.
She draws strength from the olive grove and the sacred trees revered by her Italian ancestors, giving her the courage to face her grief and an uncertain future, but will it be enough to help her when events take a sinister turn?
To further complicate Sera’s life, two attractive but very different men capture her attention. She discovers that neither of them is what they appear to be and will have to choose who is worthy of her love.
But first, she must lay the ghosts of her past to rest once and for all.
