I'm a Slovenian-Belgian author with a taste for twisty tales, a developmental editor and a book coach.
Having grown up in a small town, in times before the Internet, I found the best way to satisfy my curiosity and thirst for adventure was to visit our local library. I cultivated a passion for hoarding books and discovered that reading stories wasn't enough. I wanted to write them, too.
My short story collection 'Add Cyanide to Taste' won the 2022 IndieReader Discovery Award for best short stories. In 2023, LeVar Burton Reads licensed 'Three Roses', for their podcast. My collection, 'Pass the Cyanide', won 'The 2023 Wishing Shelf Awards Bronze'.
I currently live in Belgrade with my husband and two mischievous cats who ensure I take regular breaks and generously donate their hair to my wardrobe.
