Blurb

The claim was a lie. The passion wasn't.

New York Colony, 1755.

David White has a beautiful widow in his arms, kissing him breathless in front of half the army, and insisting he is her husband. Suddenly, his commanding officer is threatening them both with a court-martial if their union is a sham.

Kenna Burns is not going to let the head of the army take away her livelihood just because she is unmarried. So, she lays claim to the resourceful Mohawk officer who tried to help her once before.

It was only supposed to be for a few hours…

Sharing the hardships of the march—and a bedroll each night—their unintended alliance stokes a passion neither has the will to resist. But Kenna carries a secret that could land them both in chains as war erupts all around them.

Passion’s Claim is the second standalone book in the Romance and the American Ranger series. If you love a steamy, open-door, fake-marriage romance with a strong-willed heroine and a hero willing to risk all he has to keep her, then don’t miss this thrilling novel set during the French and Indian War!
