Rachael Clarke is a former police officer turned stay-at-home-mom living in Portage la Prairie, MB. She shares her life with a sport-aholic husband, two adorable kids, and a couple of quirky dogs. When not chasing kids around, acting in local theatre, or relaxing at the lake, she's busy writing/illustrating children's books or multi-genre fiction under the pen name R. A. Clarke.

On the adult fiction side of things, she tends to favour all things science fiction, fantastical, dark, and humorous. Her debut sci-fi western novel Race to Novus, is set to release on April 5, 2024 (from Cloaked Press, LLC).

Her debut children's picture book, which she is also illustrating, is set to release in October, 2024 (from Monarch Press).
