In the fortress-town of Snøstrand, Princess Anya has spent years as both royal exile and reluctant protector, feared for the dangerous gift she cannot always control. Her magic is born of winter itself—beautiful, powerful, and deadly when her heart slips.
As Yuletide approaches and lanterns glow against the dark, Anya should be preparing for the Longest Night.
Instead, the storms are growing worse.
Prince Rhen of Crystalmere comes seeking an alliance before old tensions fracture the northern realms. But when his diplomatic mission is sabotaged and his ship attacked, he crashes into Anya’s guarded world with charm, secrets, and a dangerous lack of fear.
Rhen sees the woman behind the ice. Anya sees a prince bound by duty, honor, and a kingdom that needs him. Neither expects trust to become longing—or longing to become the one thing the Snow Queen can use against them.
For Larina has awakened an Enchanted Mirror forged by dark Fae magic, and she intends to reclaim the Winter Throne. To do it, she needs Anya’s power—and she’ll use Rhen to get it.
As mirrors whisper, kingdoms tremble, and Larina’s icy grip tightens, Anya must decide whether to remain the dangerous princess everyone feared… or finally claim her magic, her heart, and the future she was never allowed to imagine.
Once Upon a Winterspell is a sweeping Snow Queen-inspired fantasy romance filled with Yuletide enchantment, elemental magic, dark Fae mirrors, slow-burn longing, political betrayal, and the dangerous beauty of a heart learning to love again.
