Daphne Dickens knows exactly what she needs at this stage in her life: the title of Assistant General Manager and the much-needed salary boost that comes with the promotion. Romance could not be further from her mind. Her job is simple: show the Very Important Person (VIP), a writer for a renowned magazine covering the ghost scene in Everbrier Bay, how fabulous First Street Inn is.
But when the VIP turns out to be too friendly and good-looking for her own good, her best intentions unravel. She volunteers to be his personal tour guide to the ghost world, even though she’s a true disbeliever.
