Overnight, he becomes the unstable outsider everyone whispers about, always one mistake away from disaster. With help from two unlikely friends, he manages to find a place on the t’quall field, where teamwork matters more than raw power.
But when four dangerous Favored escape prison, preaching Favored dominance and magic without restraint, Keller must face the kind of heroes he used to admire—and who now leave a trail of destruction in their wake.
