People are dying to teach here.
When young widow Minnie Fox takes a teaching post at the exclusive boarding school, Mansfield Grammar, she hopes to quietly recover from her husband's premature death. Luxury nestled in wild mountains, Mansfield Grammar is a career pinnacle for the fortunate few chosen to teach there. But when she arrives, she learns that one of the students has recently killed himself under the Maiden Oak, her predecessor left his post under mysterious circumstances, and a body is found in the gardens. Things are not going according to plan. As Minnie attempts to come to terms with her new circumstances, she finds herself acting as amateur sleuth and recruits some of her colleagues to assist in answering the most important question: who is next on the killer's agenda?
As dark secrets reveal themselves, Minnie realises that beneath the surface of the grandeur there are people worth killing for.
