It's not a conventional adventure…
Ember Flaor has decided to get a job as an adventurer. Not because he wants to save the world or anything, but because it’s a job with no entry requirements, and he can’t get a job anywhere else.
He’s got no skills, no strengths, and a disturbing tendency to be right in the middle of every disaster that pops up.
After joining the guild, he meets a necromancer with a bad habit of petty crime, an alchemist who insists she’s not addicted to forbidden knowledge, and a kraken. Supposedly. Between wrestling goats, running from beasts and botching quests, they’ve got plenty of problems.
But one stands out. Someone has assaulted the king, and now there’s a manhunt for the culprit. This is pretty concerning for Ember, being the culprit.
