They told her the monsters were beyond the wards. They lied.

Good fortune always comes at a terrifying price—and Evelyn just paid it with the lives of her friends.

Heartbroken after losing almost everything, she faces her darkest trials yet without her fiercest confidants. Though new bonds are forged from the ashes, she finds herself at the mercy of the vicious Luminary Apostle Reginald Theodore. But he's no longer interested in turning her into a weapon; he's hell-bent on sending her straight back into the cycle.

As the Kings of Hell close in on Power Seminary, and the sudden appointment of a ruthless new Assistant Headmaster shakes her to her core, Evelyn's memories finally begin to return. With them comes a chilling truth, forcing her to question everything she ever believed about Heaven, her purpose, and her past.

Stuck between a corrupt kingdom of light and the demons hunting her down, Evelyn must survive Heaven's brutality before her history catches up with her.

In a realm on the brink of war, the holy are those you should fear most.
