Joe was supposed to be there. But he’s already dead.
Now, his companion must finish what they started.
For years, he has hunted the creatures that steal children from their beds. He’s learned the hard way that these things don’t belong in the world of men. But the missing children aren’t the only reason he’s in the woods tonight.
Armed with a compound crossbow and driven by vengeance, he continues the hunt alone. He follows their trail deeper into the woods, where the creatures are waiting. He knows exactly what he is up against. That’s why he’s afraid.
And now he must face the creatures without the man who taught him everything.
But there are some secrets Joe never revealed.
This creature feature horror novel follows a hunter navigating a dangerous forest as he tracks deadly entities and uncovers hidden secrets about his mentor's past.
