SHE'S RUNNING OUT OF TIME. LITERALLY.
When her beloved Grammy is hospitalized with Alzheimer's, a despairing Chuck is left to pack up the crumbling family home alone. That is, until she stumbles through Grammy’s old grandfather clock and discovers a version of the house outside of time.
There she meets Jean-Luc Guillaume, an enigmatic clockmaker and alchemist, who offers to teach her alchemy. Desperate to save Grammy’s fading mind, Chuck throws herself into the craft. However, time is a slippery thing, and memory even more so, and as she unravels the mysteries of both, Chuck begins to question what can truly be held tight, and what must be let go.
In The End as It Begins, Chuck is running out of time in more ways than one.
