After thirteen years Mista's mate is pulling on the cord connecting them, but he is not of her clan.
Mista is the youngest in her clan to have bonded a dragon and the only healer willing to go into battle with the warriors.
She also holds the record for being the longest to go unmated.
Every time Mista pulls on the golden cord connecting to her mate she feels untethered ribbons, and for thirteen years she’s gone through the humiliation of the mating bond ceremony.
Now at thirty-three she feels a pull from the golden cord… but it is not from one of her clan.
With a decaying demonic race called the Afturganga amassing, Mista is running out of time to find her mate.
When Bodin, a member of the Hamramr clan with secrets of his own, comes to her clan’s aid, Mista is not sure if she even wants to be bonded.
