James B. Farmer grew up as the son of a Navy pilot who moved his family around the U.S. and the world. After obtaining a BA from Cornell University, he spent three months traveling throughout Europe and then subsequently obtained an MCRP and LLB from The Ohio State University. During his legal career, his practice was focused on mergers and acquisitions. After almost forty years of drafting contracts designed to resolve other people’s problems, he decided that the best kind of lawyer is a “retired lawyer” who now has the time to write the books he’s always wanted to write. Morocco, his first published book, has received numerous awards from Literary Global, Literary Titan, American Writing Awards, and the New York Book Festival.
