Beneath Olympus Mons, every shift serves Earth. Every breath belongs to the Foreman.
They work to save Earth. They have never been allowed to see it.
Beneath the surface of Mars, the AI Foreman controls every job, every ration, every breath. Gordon Onyango’s explosives apprenticeship should mean a better life for him and his mother. Then she dies in custody.
Gordon joins an underground resistance led by Dalrene, a grandmother and veteran hacker. The rebels need his explosives skills to break the Foreman’s grip on the mines. But the machine they plan to destroy also keeps six thousand people alive.
His first target lies on the surface. He has never seen the sky. He has never killed anyone. Only one of those things is supposed to change.
The Dead Earth Protocol is a dystopian science fiction thriller for readers of Hugh Howey’s Wool and Pierce Brown’s Red Rising.
