Every haunted home has a secret to share…
Paranormal Realtor, Gwenevere Arris, is a retired witch. She hung up her wand long ago. After serving in the Ministry Forces, dealing with the trauma was a big problem, until she found her medicine—selling homes… or rather, helping young families establish their dream of owning a home. The land of Ambriel has no shortage of haunted homes, especially in the northeastern province of Kalispell. Cleansing homes, then flipping them, turns a hefty profit, and business is good. But Gwenevere’s guilty conscious won’t leave her in peace, and she feels that she’s forgetting why she began selling homes in the first place.
When an unexpected raven shows up on her doorstep, Gwenevere realizes that people are beginning to notice her special talent. A high-profile realtor in the luxurious Valeside Beach area wants her to join his team, and cost is no object. It doesn’t take much to convince Gwen, and she leaves behind the snow-covered slopes of Kalispell for the sun-drenched beaches of Valeside.
Her mission is to sell a landmark estate named Hidden Palm Grove, also known by the locals as The Devil’s Paddock. Though the estate’s wealthy client wishes to remain anonymous, selling the massive castle won’t be easy, considering the restless spirits that reside within.
Helping Gwen is a genie named Patricia Oshner, a.k.a., Posh. However, witches and genies don’t get along, and Gwen isn’t thrilled about the pairing. But she also acknowledges the difficult challenges she might face and is determined to make her new partnership with Posh work.
Gwenevere has until Christmas Day to crack the case and cleanse the castle. Though she’s never met a house she couldn’t fix, this one promises to push her perfect record. She begins to question what secrets she might uncover within the walls of Hidden Palm Grove… secrets that might be better off not seeing the light of day.
