Rosemary McCracken, author of the Pat Tierney Mystery Series, has worked on newspapers across Canada as a reporter, arts reviewer, editorial writer and editor. She is now a Toronto-based fiction writer. Rosemary’s short fiction has appeared in numerous magazines and anthologies. "The Sweetheart Scamster," published in Thirteen in 2013, was a finalist for a Derringer Award.
Rosemary’s first Pat Tierney mystery, SAFE HARBOR, was shortlisted for Britain’s Crime Writers’ Association’s Debut Dagger in 2010, and was first published by Imajin Books in 2012. Its sequel, BLACK WATER, was released in 2013, followed by RAVEN LAKE in 2016, and UNCHARTED WATERS in 2020. Jack Batten, the Toronto Star's former crime fiction reviewer, calls Pat Tierney "a hugely attractive sleuth figure."
