A living wish makes a deal with a dark spirit in order to become human.
As a living wish, Mina knows if she is given up, she will die. Staying alive isn’t her reason for keeping Davian happy, though. He is the man who wished her to life in order to replace the woman who broke his heart. He is her sole purpose. The love of her life. She will do anything for him.
But when Mina is unable to prevent the reunion between Davian and the woman from his past, and their old feelings reignite, she is given up as a wish and the magic that once kept her alive begins to slowly kill her.
Unable to let go of the life she has with Davian, Mina sets out to make a wish. She summons a dark spirit known as the Blood King, the only being who can help her. Together, they strike a deal. If she finds the hidden pieces of his heart behind a set of mirrors, he will give her what she wants in return: a heart of her own to make her a human.
Vanishing through the mirrors, Mina befriends previous deal makers lost in the strange and twisted world on the other side. Feeling that her life has more value than she’s ever given it, Mina is hopeful she can beat out her magic and get her heart, but when she uncovers a troubling tale about the Blood King and his mirrors that may hinder her, she questions what his true intentions might be in granting her one true wish.
