Join Mandy and Andy, two lovely kittens, for an exciting Christmas Eve in snowy Lapland!
It’s early on Christmas Eve morning in the snowy North. Uncle Tobias is already up and about, preparing morning porridge for Mandy and Andy. The kittens can’t wait to begin their favorite day of the year!
Everything starts perfectly. First, a friendly moose helps them find a beautiful Christmas tree in the snow-covered forest. But the peaceful trip soon takes a thrilling turn when Andy ignores the moose’s warning about thin ice and decides to take a shortcut home across the frozen lake—oh no!
Luckily, the water is shallow, and the soaking-wet kitten soon gets warm again in the sauna.
Once he is dry and cozy, Andy shares a festive meal with Mandy and Uncle Tobias. As the winter night falls, they slow down together and think the busy day is finally complete.
But just then, a very special visitor arrives at their door on a reindeer sleigh and asks, “Are there any well-behaved children in this house?” Mandy is thrilled, but Andy feels a little worried as he remembers his earlier mishap… will he receive any presents this year?
This hand-illustrated picture book offers children ages 3 to 8 warmhearted storytelling, beautiful artwork, and a touch of excitement set in a snowy Nordic winter.
