Edrint Academy is a place of magic, mastery, and now, murder.
When Raya stumbles upon the body of the academy’s revered head mage, the halls of Edrint turn against her. As an outsider and newcomer, suspicion immediately falls on her. Powerless, friendless, and accused, Raya has only one option: find the killer before she is condemned for a crime she did not commit.
Desperate, she turns to a sharp-witted young mage, Byuton, and a cunning demon he had imprisoned in the depths of the mage prison. Together, they unravel a web of secrets, forbidden magic, and buried lies that stretch far beyond Edrint’s walls.
But the deeper they dig, the clearer it becomes. This murder was only the first act of something far darker.
Murder at Edrint Academy is the first book in the secondary-world fantasy murder mystery series Mages and Demons.
