Planet Earth is alive, sentenced to exile and promised a bride.
Planet Earth had been known by many names before. This might be the first time he’d be called a husband.
Earth is alive. A brooding man in a black overcoat with an MP3 full of alt-rock and a curse he believes is poisoning his thoughts and shaping humanity's darkest actions. He loves all things human, but he never expected to experience the most human feeling of all: falling in love.
Since the dawn of creation, humanity has been tearing itself apart. Now, it’s also invading other planets, causing Earth to be denounced and condemned to exile beyond the Solar System. But he is offered two choices: be forced to wed or watch his creations die with him.
His arranged bride is a golden planet of light from another galaxy—Astrea, Earth’s utter opposite. Her world is everything his is not. But Earth believes he’s cursed, and he refuses to let Astrea’s nature change because of him, even if marrying her could save his creation.
Searching for answers, the two will travel across the cosmos, facing challenges that threaten their worlds and test everything they believe about themselves. And unless Earth discovers what lies behind his darkness, he will have to surrender to the fate the cosmos has already chosen for him. Marriage. Or exile.
