Three octogenarians watch old mysteries on TV and become effective detectives.
The story follows the exploits of three octogenarians who spend most of their leisure time watching tons of old mysteries on TV. Is it enough to make them effective detectives? A new friend’s life may depend upon it!
Naomi Hale, Henry Gumm, and Marva Sanchez spend their leisure time at Seaside’s Golden Shores Retirement Villa in front of the tube with BritBox on full blast, “sleuthing” along with Morse, Lewis, Dalgliesh, and Agatha (Raisin, not the other one). There’s a rash of petty crimes at the villa, as cash and jewelry seem to be missing—or is it just the residents’ poor memory? The local police are called in, but their investigation yields no results. The Silver Sleuths have theories, but then their prime suspect goes missing. That mystery seems to be over before they can act, as he claims he was kidnapped… but then there’s another kidnapping!
Can the “Silver Sleuths” solve all these riddles?
