Author

R.C. Lloyd is a writer and poet from Upstate NY, whose experience growing up with an artificial heart valve and pacemaker contributes to her #ownvoices perspective. She wrote Chronic Defiance to provide a glimpse into life with a chronic illness and to come alongside those who walk it daily. She’s currently working on multiple speculative fiction books, but Chronic Defiance is the first book to make her an author. No small feat with all those characters battling for her attention.
