A wartime haunting reveals political secrets that stayed hidden for seventy years.
A house can hide dangerous secrets.
Dr David Hammond is a paranormal scientist who does not believe in ghosts, but he studies the reasons why people do. He is asked to investigate a dental surgery in Summertown, an exclusive suburb of Oxford. Too many patients have described a dark feeling there, a presence from the old house. It does not take David long to reveal the story of George Evans, and a forgotten operation from World War Two.
Attempts to research the story behind George Evans meet with dead ends. They are visited by senior members of government security, and are warned to have nothing more to do with the old house in Summertown, or anything they found there, but this is not the end of David’s involvement. He finds himself out of his depth, caught in a conflict between Downing Street and the White House because of mistakes made almost seventy years ago.
Author’s Note: My books do not contain offensive language, nor are they horror stories.
