Deborah R. Dakins is a former journalist who has published hundreds of articles in print and online, specializing in health and medicine. She loves to travel, and Italy is on her repeats list. It was during a 2018 trip to the Amalfi Coast that she fell in the love with the region’s wine, food, mountains, and sea, and returned home inspired to write this book. A California native, Deborah spent nearly 20 years in Boise, ID and experienced its burgeoning wine industry by the glass. She now resides among the trees, trails, and wineries of Oregon’s Rogue Valley with her husband and rescue pup. When not writing, she enjoys making art and creating food and wine pairings. “Vineyard of Lies” is her first novel.
