An avid reader since childhood—back in the days of Ursula Le Guin and Madeleine L'Engle—Sandi has always been drawn to stories where magic shimmers at the edges of the ordinary world. By her late teens, the Arthurian legend had captured her imagination, planting the seeds for the tales she would one day tell.
She earned a degree in English from Pennsylvania State University and built a career in corporate communications before returning to fiction with renewed purpose. Her writing weaves together Arthurian legend, romance, and elements of science fiction and fantasy, inspired by her love of medieval history, Dungeons & Dragons, and the vast mystery of the night sky.
Sandi lives in southeastern Pennsylvania with her husband and a feisty but endearing boxer dog. When she isn’t writing, she can be found painting, kayaking, wandering through museums, or cheering at Penn State football games.
