Vince Thompson has been a waiter on L.A.’s Sunset Strip, a door-to-door seller of television advertising, an executive at major media companies, a CEO, and a public-company board member. Along the way, he has done business with venture investors, celebrities, and—unknowingly at the time—a few crime figures, all of which provided inspiration for his debut thriller, THE LOCKUP PERIOD.
