First act: raised a Mennonite in Lancaster, Pennsylvania—went on to Harvard and the Escuela de Letras in Madrid with dreams of becoming a writer.
Second act: married my high school sweetheart, settled in Philadelphia, stumbled upon a career in buying and selling rare books, helped raise two fantastic children into adulthood—though got divorced along the way.
Third act: left rare books and Philadelphia behind to throw myself fully into writing, publishing, and making videos as The Aisle of Misfit Books…
