Crisis psychologist. Mother of a child with ADHD . A parent who has been exactly where you are.
I tried everything.
Psychologists. Workbooks. Techniques.
My daughter remembered exactly two tools.
The ones that came with a story she loved.
That’s why I wrote this.
I didn't write this book as a psychologist. I wrote it as a mother who was out of answers.
My daughter has ADHD. And with it came worries, storms, and feelings so big they scared us both. I tried every workbook. Most of them were helpful. None of them stuck.
So I used everything I know as a crisis psychologist—and everything I felt as her mother—and I built a world where she could finally meet her monsters face to face. Not to fight them. To understand them.
Because a feeling that has a name is a feeling that can be survived.
