Jay B. Greene was born, grew up and lives in Sarasota. He studied environmental science and journalism in college and graduated from the University of Florida.
His love for stories propelled him into a 40-year career covering health care, government, crime, and the environment for several newspapers across different states.
He is the author of Mountain Crossing, Becky, Bone Valley and Nokomis Hospital, the first four books in the Jack Kendall Mystery series. Breakthrough Lies will be Jack's next investigation in 2026
He also published two science fiction novels, Danger From Space and Flight to the Stars, part of the Tim and Peggy Smith Space Adventure trilogy. Children of the Stars is set for release in 2026.
