Fuelled by a healthy dose of weird, Isla has been writing stories since she could first put pen to paper. Drawn to the darker things in life, Isla relishes in gritty, atmospheric worlds, crafting novels filled with complex characters, high-stakes tension, and a hit of spice.
When Isla isn’t writing (or doesn’t have her nose in a book), she spends her time baking and watching old reruns of Midsomer Murders, Buffy, and all things Studio Ghibli.
She lives in rural Canada with her husband and their sassy cat, Lola.
