Debbie Atherton has been enchanted by fantasy since childhood where she discovered her love of epic quests and unlikely heroes. She wrote her debut trilogy, The Shardbearer Cycle, while recovering from a stroke—finally bringing to life the story she’d been dreaming up for years.
Debbie lives in Australia, where she shares her home (and occasionally her keyboard) with her loyal Moodle, Ruby, and her mischievous Burmese cat, Icarus.
When she’s not building worlds or wrangling characters, she enjoys spending time with her animals and losing herself in a good fantasy book.
