Erin is a writer whose work explores themes of grief and betrayal, the ways we perform goodness, and the long journey home to authenticity. She believes that writing is one way to get to the truth of who we are so that we can become more genuine versions of ourselves—on the page and in the world.
She spent two years sailing across the Pacific on her boat, S/V Delos, before returning to shore to navigate the even more complex terrain of her own life. Currently, she is studying depth psychology, which is deepening her fascination with the hidden patterns, inner conflicts, and emotional truths that shape our stories and our lives.
She lives in Southern California with her partner and son. When she’s not writing or studying, she is spending time with her family, hiking on the trails near her home, or frolicking in the chilly Pacific Ocean. The same ocean that, years ago, taught her how to stop hiding and start becoming.
Becoming the Ocean is her debut memoir.
