Born in the 1980s, autistic, chronically ill, queer, unapologetically chaotic, S. E. Thomson has been through more than is strictly recommended for a lifetime and has worked hard to be able to laugh and move forward to embrace the joy in the world.
He writes to help others and to create the kind of stories he wishes he'd seen growing up: supportive, sad, affirming, painful, and always funny.
Thomson’s work explores life at the intersection of neurodivergence, chronic illness, and queer identity, without trying to fix or simplify any of it with toxic positivity; telling stories that are messy and authentic.
