Sadie Finch writes cozy mysteries with a little too much moss hanging off them. She grew up wandering the stacks of a small-town library not unlike the one in Secrets of St. Alma, and has been convinced that old books hold onto things ever since.
These days she lives in the rural South with a cat who supervises all writing sessions. When she's not plotting murders in fictional Florida towns, she can be found drinking too much Coke Zero, losing arguments with her cat, and adding to a to-be-read pile that has long since become a structural hazard.
