Jeff spent most of his career engineering space systems as co-founder and CTO of RKF Engineering and founder, CEO, and CTO of Kythera Space Solutions. He is an inventor on more than 30 space-system patents. After selling his companies in December 2025, he retired to write hard science fiction full-time. He is the author of "Prena’s Eye" and "The Spark Anomaly", which reached No. 1 on Amazon’s free Science Fiction & Fantasy bestseller chart.
Not all of Jeff’s ventures were successful. He designed the award-winning home-animation product 3D Choreographer, which filmmakers used, along with an all-star cast, to create "Rapsittie Street Kids: Believe in Santa"—arguably the worst animated movie ever made. Que sera, sera.
