Alya Marchenko was born and raised in Dnipro, Ukraine. Over the years, he has called several cities in different countries home, writing short stories, poems, sports journalism, and software code along the way.
He now lives in a small village in Illinois with his wife, two children, and a mischief of very adorable rats.
