Raised in New Jersey and Arizona, Ariadne always dreamed of what lay beyond, her eyes drawn to the stars—at least when they weren't buried in the pages of a book, dreaming of the fantastical and the magical.
Today, she lives just outside Washington, DC, with her husband and Lucifer the dog, penning science fiction and fantasy stories with smart, competent, and occasionally morally gray heroines, often paired with a healthy dollop of romance. When not actively writing or scheming about how to torment her characters, she can be found hoarding nail polish and books and learning new apocalypse survival skills.
